The key to a comfortable hike starts with your feet. When all is well, you don\u2019t usually give your feet a second thought, but if you have a problem with boot fit, you\u2019ll focus solely on your soles.<\/p>\n

Many blame their boots when their dogs are barking, but more often than not, buying better socks can solve hot-foot problems. Among other things, socks serve as a barrier between you and the tough, durable, and abrasive materials of the boot. The wrong type of sock can actually make the boot fit worse, leading to even bigger, more-painful blisters.<\/p>\n
