An annual freeride skiing and snowboarding event that takes place on the legendary Corbet\u2019s Couloir is scheduled for next week, February 4-11. The event features some of the world\u2019s most exciting and decorated skiers and snowboarders who huck themselves off the cornice above Corbet&#8217;s Couloir in hopes of being named &#8220;King&#8221; or &#8220;Queen&#8221; of Corbet&#8217;s.  This year marks the 6th time this &#8220;mind-blowing&#8221; competition has been held, and includes a prize pool of over $30,000. Unique to Kings &#038; Queens \u2014 the winners are chosen by the athletes themselves \u2014 based on factors such as execution, innovation and creativity. <\/p>\n<p>Check out this video of top moments from years past, especially if you&#8217;ve never before seen footage from the event.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\" class=\"vidcontainer\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sVo_tkvklB4\" title=\"YouTube video player\" class=\"vidvideo\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>No live stream in 2023 means that spectators can only watch live and in-person, from below, in Tensleep Bowl as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jacksonhole.com\/kings-queens-corbets\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">a deep roster of incredible athletes<\/a> show off their skills and push the boundaries of their sport. The confirmed lineup this year includes past winners Karl Fostvedt (2018, 2021) and Parkin Costain (2020) as well as reigning queen Piper Kunst and 2020 queen Veronica Paulsen.
