Their technologies allow for extended adventures with greater comfort and confidence. Their solutions allow me to reuse running socks, base layers and other gear without the need to wash them as frequently \u2014 meaning I can continue to put off laundry day.<\/p>\n<h3>Polygiene Technology<\/h3>\n<p>Polygiene offers two primary solutions to maintain freshness in textiles and gear:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Polygiene StayFresh\u2122 \u2014<\/strong> This antibacterial treatment, based on silver chloride \u2014 a salt that is naturally present in water and soil, inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, ensuring garments remain fresh even after prolonged use. Polygiene&#8217;s technologies can significantly enhance the functionality and comfort of outdoor apparel and gear \u2014 especially that gear which cannot be easily laundered.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to multiple baselayers and socks I have used for years \u2014 I&#8217;ve recently been testing both StayFresh &amp; OdorCrunch technologies in the most rigorous way I know \u2014 through my men&#8217;s league ice hockey gloves. Hockey equipment is notoriously smelly, and has been a glaring issue since my hockey life began as a five year old, north of Boston. \u00a0My mother banished my hockey bag to the porch when I was 13, and would sneak dryer sheets into it when I was in high school \u2014 a fruitless effort to reduce the stench. \u00a0But over the past seven months I&#8217;ve been using CCM gloves that feature both OdorCrunch and StayFresh, and have nothing but high praise for the smell, or lack there of, coming from these beauties.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Polygiene enables us in the outdoors to embark on adventures knowing equipment &#8211; especially baselayers &#8211; will remain fresher and perhaps even hygienic throughout the journey.
